In this traditional competition, artists must compose, paint, complete and frame (or finish) a piece of art outdoors “en plein air.”

Works will be judged and fabulous prizes donated by Opus Art Supplies will be awarded. Participants may exhibit and sell their art created during the competition from 4 to 7 p.m. on the day of the challenge.

This meetup will be a conversation about how cities can foster biodiversity in open spaces, led by salmon biologist and urban planning enthusiast Auston Chhor.

Using various spaces around Downtown Squamish as a backdrop, we'll discuss how changes to land use policies and community-led restoration efforts can help blur the line between urban and natural areas.

Indulge in a gourmet feast crafted by Chef Christopher James Floyd with the finest ingredients, paired with exquisite wines to tantalize your taste buds in our first Long Table Dinner in our picturesque garden.

With experience working alongside Chef Riccardo Camanini in Lombardia, Italy, and in Michelin-starred restaurants across the UK and Denmark, Chef Floyd brings a wealth of culinary expertise. Driven by a passion for ingredient-focused cuisine and technical mastery, he cherishes time spent with his family in Southern France, as well as exploring the beauty of British Columbia.
