St Patrick’s Day Party at The BAG
FeaturedAn evening of storytelling, folklore, traditional Irish music and traditional Irish food that would make your mammy proud. The BAG welcomes you all to come and celebrate the true joys of Irish culture.
At 7pm the night will begin with a short presentation from Ireland and The BAG's very own, Dom Rose.
The stage will then be graced with some of the finest traditional Irish music Brackendale has seen. We'll have Guinness, Jameson and Irish Coffee to keep you dancing into the night.
We'll have a curated Specials Menu including:
small plates of Boxty (savoury potato bread) and Dairygold butter
Housemade Beef and Guinness Stew pie with Colcannon -
Pet Portraits Class
FeaturedJoin artist Sira Pocovi from It’s 1958 to learn how to make your own pet portraits! You’ll learn very easy transfer techniques so you can turn any photo into a paint-ready outline! All the painting materials will be provided, and at the end of the class, you will have your own pet portrait on a 5x7 canvas! No painting experience needed-just bring your love for your pet!

Raised in Vancouver, BC, they spent their childhood learning music from their grandmother, a piano teacher, librarian and choir conductor who planted the seeds for a lifelong obsession with the arts.

Pottery Carving Workshop
FeaturedJoin Kelsea Rae Ceramics at Smoke Bluffs Coffee House for a cozy evening of pottery carving. Carving is one of the most creative and fleeting stages of pottery, a step that happens between throwing and glazing, and one that you don’t often get to practice yourself.
Each participant will receive a wheel-thrown tumbler, handmade by yours truly, ready to be transformed with your own design. I’ll guide you through hand-carving techniques including sgraffito (carving through a colored underglaze to reveal the clay beneath) and misima (carving lines and inlaying them with contrasting underglaze).
No experience is needed, just come ready to get creative. After the workshop, I’ll glaze and fire your piece in my studio, and your finished tumbler will
