The boys from The Wells have really enjoyed the years since joining up in 2017. Fate brought this band together and they have never looked back. As a local cover band, they have had the distinguished honor of playing a range of gigs from weddings to café’s and everything in between. PWRUP is a Canadian tribute act embodying AC/DC’s rock n’ roll greatness. Since 2019, they’ve delivered authentic performances that capture the essence of AC/DC’s 70s and 80s sound. Catering to fans, PWRUP performs a range of hits from early classics to recent favorites. Vocalist John Kairis channels both Bon Scott’s charisma and Brian Johnson’s power, while lead guitarist Colin Wielenga electrifies as Angus Young. The rhythm section—bassist Tom Roche, rhythm guitarist Tim Wielenga, and drummer Ray A—provides a solid foundation. Known for their high-energy shows and precise detail, PWRUP offers an unforgettable AC/DC experience that keeps fans rocking all night.

Join Cory Weeds and his quartet for the launch of a new jazz series at The Brackendale Art Gallery. They’ll honor the legendary Canadian saxophonist Fraser MacPherson by performing some of his favorite tunes. This past April, Weeds' Cellar Music Group released "Fraser MacPherson: I Don't Have To Go Anywhere, I'm Already Here" by Guy MacPherson, Fraser’s son. The book offers an intimate portrait of MacPherson and explores Vancouver's golden age of nightlife, when musicians could thrive locally.

Valdy, born Valdemar Horsdal in Ottawa, has been a fixture in Canadian pop and folk music for nearly 40 years. Known for his warm storytelling and keen observation of life's moments, Valdy is celebrated for hits like "Play Me a Rock and Roll Song" and his engaging performances.
