Thanks to support from the Squamish Youth Council, we’re excited to welcome youth for a special hands-on open house at CREATE Makerspace!
This evening is all about exploration, creativity, and fun. Youth will rotate through different stations across the makerspace — from woodworking and pottery to laser cutting and sewing — getting a taste of the many ways people create here.

Experience the golden glow of the Squamish Estuary at Sunset, a stunning adult paint night inspired by our local landscape. Teens 13+ are welcome to join with parental permission. All materials are provided and no experience necessary!
This painting features the iconic Mount Garibaldi bathed in sunset orange, reflected across the calm waters of the estuary, with a peaceful bear gazing out into the horizon. Our professional instructor will guide you step-by-step through creating your own version of this serene scene, from blending the vivid sky to painting the silhouette details that bring the composition to life. Filmed across some of the most breathtaking terrain on the planet — Bute Inlet, Haines Alaska, and the Sea-to-Sky corridor — Ulterior is a striking mix of raw mountain power, precision riding, and authentic storytelling.
This project was directed, produced, edited, and filmed entirely by a local production team, capturing the essence of mountain life and the spirit of those who live for the deep snow and steep lines that define the Coast Range.

Are you more than a dance enthusiast? Are you a dancer? Calling all dancers 13 and up - all the way up! Ballet BC Annex is leading a workshop after their performance at the Eagle Eye Theatre. Learn part of the choreography and be inspired by these amazing, passionate movers. This is the third time we have hosted Ballet BC Annex and each time has been magical.

The Wells fire up the stage with a hit-packed ride through the best of the 80’s— From Journey to The Cure, The Cult, Twisted Sister, Duran Duran, Billy Idol and more! Neon vibes, epic singalongs, and a dance floor that never slows down. 80’s dress encouraged; time travel has never been this fun! The Wells are a staple in the Sea to Sky Corridor, most recently providing the sound track to good times up the Sea to Sky Gondola, Squamish Yacht Club’s Open Regatta, and countless weddings and parties.

Professional improvisor and actor Margret Nyfor is coming to Squamish to facilitate this mixed level improv workshop titled 'Simple Fun Stories'. Margret will give you the tools to tell a simple and clear story on stage; which is crucial for improv success. You will play with the five main elements needed to tell a simple story. You will also explore character growth and the need for strong, clear, logical offers. Finally, you will also play with stakes and create endings for stories.
