Come join us in Downtown Squamish for an outdoor learning experience that combines outdoor learning and art. Whether you're a seasoned botanist or just moved to the area, there's something for everyone at Plant School. We'll start with a walk, followed by time in the studio to paint what we've learned.

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Howe Sound, captured within the silhouette of a majestic bear. Join us for an evening of artistic exploration and create your own masterpiece. Unwind, paint, and let the coastal magic unfold on your canvas!

Injured and looking to expand your non-active skill set? Join us for a fun and creative evening at The Locavore Bar & Grill in Squamish. Our plant walk and sketch event will take you on a journey to explore the local flora while honing your sketching skills. No previous knowledge is required!

Join Rob LeBlanc to make your first wooden Kumiko panel over three sessions. Kumiko is a traditional Japanese woodworking method that creates delicate and artistic panels without the use of nails. Using hand-tools and precision, students will learn how to measure and cut angles to assemble an "asanoha" or "hemp leaf" panel. Panels can be used in other woodworking projects as decorative door fronts, or as hanging art pieces.

This course runs for three consecutive Wednesday evenings starting at 6pm June 19th.

This course is open to everyone, as there are no pre-requisite skills. (18+ due to our insurance, thank you!)

Come join us for a colorful day of creativity at the Brackendale Art Gallery in our newly opened garden! Unleash your inner artist as we dive into the world of pastels and other drawing mediums with facilitator Amanda Desjardins. This in-person event will allow you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the garden while getting creative. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone looking to have a fun and relaxing time surrounded by nature. Food and beverages will be available for purchase through our cafe.
