About Harvey Chan
Harvey Chan was born in Hong Kong. He has been a professional illustrator, fine artist and art educator for many years. He has created designs for the Royal Canadian Mint, featuring notable Chinese Zodiac coin series and awarded for children’s book illustrations. Harvey also taught at many art and design institutions in Toronto including his alma mater, Ontario College of Art ( Now OCADU ). In 2011, he returned to Hong Kong, establishing Art For Life Studio. Since moving to Vancouver in 2021, Harvey has been focusing on his personal works and exhibitions. Harvey also has established himself as a popular teacher of figurative drawing and painting at different art schools and online workshops in Vancouver.
