In the Beginner Improv class the focus is on building confidence and fostering a supportive environment for exploration through laughter. Through group exercises and games you will be introduced to the foundations of improv such as “Yes, And”, spontaneity, active listening, being present in the moment, self awareness, vulnerability, taking risks, making and accepting offers. This class is all about stepping out of your comfort zone, trusting yourself and failing joyfully.
Come join us for a night of creativity through hand-building and carving clay pumpkins and jack-o'-lanterns. With step by step guidance, you will shape and carve a clay pumpkin into a lantern. Once fired, these creative pumpkin lanterns can have a candle or light placed inside for a warm glow on one's porch or in the window.
This workshop is held by professional potter Liz Sax. Or is for ages 16yrs+. Each unique piece will be glazed and fired with handmade glazes to be cherished for many years to come.
