Catherine, Sam and Rita have been singing harmony for decades and have lots of tips and techniques to share. Ear training exercises, vocal improvisation and a practical, organic approach using contemporary folk and pop songs. Intended for those new to singing harmony by ear, or for those wanting time to practice and improve their skills through community singing in a safe, inclusive space. All ages welcome.

Samantha Sinanan is a local singer-songwriter who has called Squamish home since 2013. Sam recently released her first full-length recording of original songs. The album features all original music crafted from the heart. Rooted in story, Will You Think Of Me blends soulful folk with fresh, innovative melodies. She is proud to be part of the Squamish-based Bluesberry Jam Showband in addition to leading an original folk/country/blues project called Cowgirl Lovebrand, who can be found playing locally and abroad.
Rita Kyle started singing in the church from early on and was taught at a piano how to follow and sing a harmony line. AM radio eventually became her preferred secular teacher as a youth, and she has sung, performed and recorded in various ensembles over the years. At 40 she picked up the guitar, and later the acoustic bass. She currently enjoys singing and playing with her husband (in the Delibles), with Bluesberry Jam Showband, and with friends, in a variety of styles.
