Michaela is an artist who draws inspiration from nature and her personal experiences. Her past experiences and opportunities have guided her in this direction, allowing her art to tell her story. Michaela holds a Master’s degree in Art Education from the University of Presov in Slovakia. Recently, she received her Art teaching certificate in British Columbia. As part of her studies, she attended Shenzhen University in China and Rzeszow University in Poland to gain a broader view of art scenes around the world.
When she arrived in Whistler in 2017, it opened up many possibilities for her artistic visions. Mountains and animals became her new inspirations, which she depicts in various media. Experimenting with resin and wood opened a new world for her creative spirit. However, she still returns to her favourite acrylic painting medium and ink drawings and tries to find the perfect style that corresponds with her feelings and visions.
