In this hands-on workshop, kids will design and create their own functional, nature-inspired ceramic plate from start to finish. Using handbuilding techniques, participants will explore how to shape clay into a usable form while adding their own creative touches through texture and decoration. This class is a great introduction to working with clay, encouraging both creativity and an understanding of how everyday objects can be made by hand.
Create two custom jack-o-lantern tealight holders by carving in faces, shapes and designs. Then use underglaze to add pops of colour and highlights.
