In this hands-on workshop, kids will design and create their own functional, nature-inspired ceramic plate from start to finish. Using handbuilding techniques, participants will explore how to shape clay into a usable form while adding their own creative touches through texture and decoration. This class is a great introduction to working with clay, encouraging both creativity and an understanding of how everyday objects can be made by hand.

New to pottery? This one-session class is a great way to get started on the wheel. Whether you're just curious, looking for a creative night out, or thinking about joining our Wheel Pottery Foundations course, this class is designed for total beginners. Over two guided hours, you'll learn the basic techniques of wheel throwing, make up to two simple cylinder forms, and get a feel for the tools, rhythm, and joy of working with clay. Choose from a few glaze options, we'll trim and fire them, then pick up your finished pieces a few weeks later.
