Oil Painting Class Series: Florals

This series of 6 oil painting classes will be dedicated to the timeless subject of florals. Throughout the course, we will explore a variety of techniques and approaches used by both Old Masters and contemporary artists to capture the fragile beauty of flowers.

Students will learn how to observe floral forms, mix vibrant yet natural colors, and build depth and texture with oil paint. We will study composition, brushwork, layering, and the subtle interplay of light and shadow that brings petals and leaves to life on canvas.

Each session will include demonstrations, guided practice, and individual support, allowing students to develop their own artistic voice while learning from classical and modern painting traditions. This class welcomes artists of all levels who wish to deepen their understanding of oil painting while celebrating the elegance and expressive potential of flowers.
