In this class, you will learn the basic tools for retouching photography with photoshop. We will walk through basic photoshop workspace, basic enhancement tools, healing brush and Camera Raw process for colour and black and white photography.
Experience Level: Beginner
Participant supplies:
- Laptop with Adobe Photoshop CC installed
- 4-5 digital photos of any kind that you wish to process
- Optional: mouse or a graphic tablet

Instructor
Maina Pertolas
Maïna Pertolas (she/her) is a photographer based in Squamish, BC, located on the unceded Sḵwx̱ú7mesh territory. She was born and raised in France. In the last 10 years she has created editorial portraits and captured landscapes through commissioned and personal projects. Recently, her work has focused on film photography and storytelling. She develops a robust skillset including education, wedding photography, retouching, studio lighting and film processing. You will find her knitting, cooking, hiking, or running with her dogs when she is not taking photos.
