Lorraine Simonds is an internationally recognized, award-winning watercolor artist based in Squamish, specializing in expressive, emotive portraits that capture the human spirit. Recent achievements include Finalist in Splash 26: The Best of Watercolour, First Place in 2025 Works on Paper, and serving as an Exhibiting Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and BC Representative for the International Watercolor Society Canada. With a BA in Fine Art from the University of Leeds and mentorship under renowned artist Thomas Schaller, her work is held in private collections worldwide. She offers original paintings, prints, commissions, and mentorship programs from her Squamish studio.
