Lizzie is a self-taught artist, who loves to paint with bright, bold colours, creating dreamy, trippy impressions of nature. Her inspiration is always the wild and the interconnectedness of everything in our cosmos. She is forever finding opportunities to walk in the woods, swim in the sea and lakes or stare at the moon and stars. It is this connection that drives her art, and she hopes will connect to others too. Sometimes her art is an obvious ode to her surroundings, and at other times it is a trippy interpretation of the interconnectedness of all life. She likes to paint with bright acrylic colours, on canvas, wood or walls! Lately she has been using clay to build handmade frames for some of her mini paintings and also to create objects that have a whimsical and colourful nod to our cosmos.
