Growing up in BC, Danita feels so lucky to have been surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest for as long as she can remember. Memories of camping in the summers and snowboarding in the winters through childhood translated into backcountry camping, hiking, snowboarding and surfing as an adult. In the last few years she dove into watercolour on a whim, a new mom searching for something that felt like her own. This became an invaluable outlet while home with two young kids.
With a creative family, Danita felt drawn to creativity but didn’t know where to begin. Watercolour has become a place to express the beauty that Danita experiences in this corner of our world. A way for her to share this beauty with others.
