Whether you're just curious, looking for a creative night out, or thinking about joining our Wheel Pottery Foundations course, this class is designed for total beginners. Over two guided hours, you'll learn the basic techniques of wheel throwing, make up to two simple cylinder forms, and get a feel for the tools, rhythm, and joy of working with clay. You’ll be walked through each step as a group — no one gets left behind — and we’ll take care of the trimming and glazing after class so you can simply enjoy the experience. In the Beginner Improv class the focus is on building confidence and fostering a supportive environment for exploration through laughter. Through group exercises and games you will be introduced to the foundations of improv such as “Yes, And”, spontaneity, active listening, being present in the moment, self awareness, vulnerability, taking risks, making and accepting offers. This class is all about stepping out of your comfort zone, trusting yourself and failing joyfully.
