Luke Weiser started about 15 years ago making bamboo fly rods, each one was one of a kind and created by Luke as much as possible. Some of the parts did need to be purchased but the majority were individually hand crafted by Luke, these included the hardware that held the reels in place. The rings were just that and after a few Lukes friends started to ask for rings as jewellery, one friend who was a jewellery instructor at the local art college gave him a little push to further his education and suggested that he would greatly benefit attending the Revere Academy of Jewellery Arts in San Francisco. After attending the Revere Academy Lukes work in jewellery started to evolve and look more refined, something he is always striving to continue to do.
Luke has been working solely as a jeweller now for 3 years and has 7 more years of working in between a job he didn’t like while spending his off hours creating and honing his skills.
