Chloe Leonard

Chloe started drawing “ikimono” while living in Japan, and the art has since followed her back home to Canada. She wanted to create something that wasn’t exactly real, yet still had an air of sentience to it. Once these creatures began forming on the page, she was pleased to find just how much expression she could work into each of them. Ikimono are meant to inspire imagination, curiosity, and a spark of humour.

Her illustrations are drawn using traditional and digital super fine point pen and ink.
