A Joint Fundraiser for the Squamish Arts Council and Sea to Sky SPCA

Is your pet portrait-worthy? We think so!

The Squamish Arts Council is joining forces with the Sea to Sky SPCA to help raise much needed funds to support arts, culture, and animals right here in Squamish.

Option 1: Artist Pet Portrait

Minimum Donation – $30

Simply upload a photo of your precious pet and our pool of artists will do the rest!

You will receive a one-of-a-kind piece of art commemorating your adorable pet. Our pool of artists are ready to turn your pet’s photo into a whimsical work of art that will make you smile. Once we receive your photo, your artist will get creative and transform the photo into a unique piece of art for you to treasure for years to come. Art is created on a first come first serve basis, so the quicker you want your art… the sooner you need to sign up!

To ensure delivery in Squamish prior to Christmas, orders must be received by December 10th. If outside Squamish, delivery time can’t be guaranteed.

Option 2: Professional Photo Pet Portrait

Minimum Donation – $60

Need a professional photo of your pet?

We are offering a professional photo mini-session on December 5th or 13th between 10am – 2pm with a value of $120.

To ensure covid safety, photos will be taken outside (undercover if raining) in one of Squamish’s beautiful places. The photographer’s assistant will need to be able to handle your dog/leash. Masks will be mandatory for all humans and social distancing will be required. Time selection will be arranged after payment has been received.

Squamish Arts Council

The Squamish Arts Council aims to generate awareness and improve access to arts, culture and heritage groups in Squamish. The money received will help support programming such as youth scholarships, free-of-charge festivals and events, art programs. We believe that access to arts and culture is a vital part of a healthy community, and our local artists need our support as they support our emotional and mental health during these difficult times.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

The Sea to Sky SPCA

The Sea to Sky SPCA helps approximately 400 animals per year locally in shelter but also helps and supports others through the low cost spay and neuter program. All money will go to help care for the animals in the shelter which will include, feeding, Vet care, vaccines and other treatments. If you want to register for more than 3 Photo Pet Portraits please fill out the form again. Each photo mini-session will include 3 digital photos. Example: if you select 2 above you would get 6 digital images and have 2 scheduled time blocks.

Custom Painted Portrait

β€’ Artwork will be mailed by Canada Post and the Squamish Arts Council and SPCA are not responsible for lost or damaged artwork.

Community Event Calendar

Terms & Conditions

Event Eligibility: Only events related to public art and cultural activities located in Squamish, BC will be considered for inclusion in the calendar. The event should align with the purpose and focus of Squamish Art’s mission and vision.

Submission Accuracy: The submitter is responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about the event, including the event title, date, time, location, description, and any additional relevant details.

Ownership and Permissions: By submitting an event to the calendar, the submitter confirms that they have the necessary rights and permissions to promote the event and its associated content, including any images or multimedia files.

Event Approval: Submission does not guarantee automatic inclusion in the public art calendar. The calendar administrators reserve the right to review and approve each event before it is published. Approved events will be added to the calendar in a timely manner.

Editing and Removal: The calendar administrators reserve the right to edit event details, including the event title, description, date, time, and location, to ensure accuracy and consistency. The administrators also reserve the right to remove an event from the calendar at any time without prior notice.

Pricing Guidelines: Submitters must either be a member or pay a non-refundable fee of $10 for each event submitted. Membership details and fee payment instructions will be provided separately.

Public Accessibility: The public art calendar is available to the general public. By submitting an event, the submitter acknowledges that the event details will be visible to anyone accessing the calendar.

Content Guidelines: Event submissions must adhere to the guidelines of respectful and inclusive language. The calendar administrators reserve the right to reject or modify event submissions that contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.

Liability: The calendar administrators are not responsible for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in the event details provided by the submitter. The submitter agrees to hold the administrators harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from the inclusion or exclusion of an event in the calendar.

Data Privacy: Personal information collected during the event submission process will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the privacy policy of the public art calendar.

Modifications to Terms and Conditions: The calendar administrators may update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. It is the responsibility of the submitter to review the terms periodically and ensure compliance.

By submitting an event to the public art calendar, the submitter agrees to comply with these terms and conditions.
