In the beginner Improv class the focus is on building confidence and fostering a supportive environment for exploration through laughter. Through group exercises and games you will be introduced to the foundations of improv such as “Yes, And”, spontaneity, active listening, being present in the moment, self awareness, vulnerability, taking risks, making and accepting offers. This class is all about stepping out of your comfort zone, trusting yourself and failing joyfully. Excludes May 18th for a public holiday.

Join Angela Muellers and Paul Chizik for a landscape plein air workshop at Alice Lake. All levels welcome. Paul will demo in oils, acrylic painters are welcome. The course will examine the painting process using composition, value, and color design. Plein painters must understand these steps, so that they can quickly create a design and begin painting. Big Kids Improv Camp is a 3-day, 3-night transformative retreat for adults (19+) who like to integrate play with personal growth.
Over the course of the retreat, you'll dive deep into improv workshops led by some of Vancouver's most experienced improv performers and instructors—sandwiched between guided meditations, breathwork, mindfulness, and somatic practices that ground you in your body and the present moment. Bonus: Farm animal play and goat yoga! Facilitators include Louise Robinson, Margret Nyfor, Lauren McGibbon, Andrew Barber, Nina Fields and Laura Sharp.
