Join exhibiting artist Marlene Lowden on a creative journey as she explores abstract art through the lens of shape and size. This workshop welcomes participants of all levels, from beginners to seasoned creators.
Injured and looking to expand your non-active skill set? Join us for a fun and creative evening at The Locavore Bar & Grill in Squamish. Our plant walk and sketch event will take you on a journey to explore the local flora while honing your sketching skills. No previous knowledge is required!
Join Rob LeBlanc to make your first wooden Kumiko panel over three sessions. Kumiko is a traditional Japanese woodworking method that creates delicate and artistic panels without the use of nails. Using hand-tools and precision, students will learn how to measure and cut angles to assemble an "asanoha" or "hemp leaf" panel. Panels can be used in other woodworking projects as decorative door fronts, or as hanging art pieces.
This course runs for three consecutive Wednesday evenings starting at 6pm June 19th.
This course is open to everyone, as there are no pre-requisite skills. (18+ due to our insurance, thank you!)

The offerings share a range of Drag, Dance and New Media artists that are a part of the Ballroom scene, showing the versatility and ingenuity of the queer culture.

"Terrain: West Coast Views”, features the work of 12 artists honoring the natural beauty of the West Coast. Each artist draws inspiration from their natural surroundings, whether it be the way light plays on the surface of water, the grounding presence of trees and mountains, or the ephemeral seasons as they pass. Their works strive to capture an essence or feeling, moving beyond mere representation. By harnessing a variety of unique styles and painting techniques, these artists convey the emotional and atmospheric qualities of the landscapes they depict.
Come join us for a colorful day of creativity at the Brackendale Art Gallery in our newly opened garden! Unleash your inner artist as we dive into the world of pastels and other drawing mediums with facilitator Amanda Desjardins. This in-person event will allow you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the garden while getting creative. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone looking to have a fun and relaxing time surrounded by nature. Food and beverages will be available for purchase through our cafe.

The Mighty Teardrops are a Vancouver quintet who serve up vintage bluegrass music with sweetness and drive.
Singer/guitarist Lorraine Cobb and singer/bassist Woody Bell Junior provide haunting harmonies, while fiddler Josh Zubot, mandolinist Mark Vaughan, and banjo man Devon Wells lend sizzling breaks and tasty fills.
The Mighty Teardrops’ blend of original tunes, bluegrass and country music deep cuts, and straight-ahead standards has been a hit at festivals and clubs, leaving audiences thrilled by the songs, the showmanship, and the devastating licks.

"Coast Mountain Folk" Trad Session
Join Jocelyn Pettit with teachers and participants from the Sea To Sky Fiddle & Cello Retreat, for a traditional music session from 5:30pm - 8:30pm on Sunday July 7th at The Brackendale Art Gallery. Instruments welcome for participation. This is a free event - come out to listen and enjoy some amazing traditional music.
The Session: A casual gathering of musicians who have come together to play traditional music, a practice that has been done in Ireland, Scotland, and England for centuries.
Ciarra Saylor and Sarah Keller are pleased to offer their experience as creatives and educators in a 5-day summer kids camp. The focus will be nature and art, with a min. of 6 students and max. 12.
Ages: 8-13 years old
Cost $515 for all five days and all art supplies.

We'll pop on an old teen movie (PG13) and supply the paper, glue, scissors, and some materials to be deconstructed.
You'll bring your creativity and some old magazines, photos, or whatever you have to make your masterpiece! Bring some for yourself, and maybe some to share (that old wrapping paper you've been saving?)
Our kitchen and bar will be open to keep you fed and watered.
The stakes are low, and the fun is high. We can't wait to see you there!
