Come join us for a night of creativity through hand-building and carving clay pumpkins and jack-o'-lanterns. With step by step guidance, you will shape and carve a clay pumpkin into a lantern. Once fired, these creative pumpkin lanterns can have a candle or light placed inside for a warm glow on one's porch or in the window.

This workshop is held by professional potter Liz Sax. Or is for ages 16yrs+. Each unique piece will be glazed and fired with handmade glazes to be cherished for many years to come.

For the collectors, the keepers, and those wanting to build with their hands. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore the fundamentals of handbuilding pottery to create a wall mounted trinket shelf. Art meets function. Who doesn’t need an extra shelf to store their trinkets? Please note that participants must be 15 years of age or older. Check out our dedicated kids classes for other opportunities to learn!

New to clay? This one-session class is the perfect introduction to the pottery wheel for kids. Over two fun, hands-on hours, your child will learn the basics of wheel throwing, make up to two simple cylinder forms, and discover the joy of working with their hands and getting a little messy along the way. Every student is guided through each step as a group — no one gets left behind — and our instructors make sure every child feels confident and supported throughout the class. It's a drop-off session, so kids get to enjoy their own creative space while you take a well-earned break. After class, we'll take care of the trimming, you pick up the final piece in 4-6weeks!
