New to pottery? This one-session class is a great way to get started on the wheel. Whether you're just curious, looking for a creative night out, or thinking about joining our Wheel Pottery Foundations course, this class is designed for total beginners. Over two guided hours, you'll learn the basic techniques of wheel throwing, make up to two simple cylinder forms, and get a feel for the tools, rhythm, and joy of working with clay. You’ll be walked through each step as a group — no one gets left behind — and we’ll take care of the trimming and glazing after class so you can simply enjoy the experience.
