    Pottery Carving Workshop

    Join Kelsea Rae Ceramics at Smoke Bluffs Coffee House for a cozy evening of pottery carving. Carving is one of the most creative and fleeting stages of pottery, a step that happens between throwing and glazing, and one that you don’t often get to practice yourself.

    Each participant will receive a wheel-thrown tumbler, handmade by yours truly, ready to be transformed with your own design. I’ll guide you through hand-carving techniques including sgraffito (carving through a colored underglaze to reveal the clay beneath) and misima (carving lines and inlaying them with contrasting underglaze).

    No experience is needed, just come ready to get creative. After the workshop, I’ll glaze and fire your piece in my studio, and your finished tumbler will

    TEMPUS: A Contemporary Dance Benefit Production

    Inspired by Einstein’s Dreams by Alan Lightman, TEMPUS is a collaboration between the Sea to Sky Dance Collective and composer Michael K. Hewitt, director of Create-Able Arts Society. Blending original music and contemporary dance, the production explores imagined worlds where time shifts, loops, races, or stands still—revealing emotional truths about how we live, connect, and make meaning. TEMPUS invites audiences on a powerful journey through sound and motion. Proceeds support the Sea to Sky Hospice Society, whose work honours time in its most profound form by supporting individuals and families through life’s final transitions with dignity, compassion, and care.

    Big Kids Improv Camp is a 3-day, 3-night transformative retreat for adults (19+) who like to integrate play with personal growth.
    Over the course of the retreat, you'll dive deep into improv workshops led by some of Vancouver's most experienced improv performers and instructors—sandwiched between guided meditations, breathwork, mindfulness, and somatic practices that ground you in your body and the present moment.
