Students will need to bring the following supplies:
*We have limited camera equipment to lend to students on a first come first serve basis. Please email info@squamishartscouncil.com if you need to borrow a camera and tripod.
- Mirrorless camera or a DSLR
- Tripod
- Adobe Lightroom Classic software. For editing photos and viewing.
- Laptop
- Hard drive or SSD storage (Optional, but advised to have)
- SD card for camera.
Learn how to use light to create image still in photography with Keyede Osuntokun. In this class you will receive an introduction to camera controls, learn the basics of photography, as well as an introduction to Adobe Lightroom Classic.
Instructor
Keyede Osuntokun
Keyede is a professional photographer who studied at Vancouver Institute of MediaArts. She is also a painter who specializes in abstract expressionism painting using various mediums to express herself and convey colors bringing inner imagination to life. Before moving to Squamish 6 years ago, Keyede lived in Calgary and studied there. They’ve co-written a dissertation book which was published. They love music, dance and the peace of nature, which reflects in how they approach their creations.
