Steffi is a freelance artist and graphic designer, and taught digital illustration courses through Art School in its inaugural year. She has a Bachelor of Arts from UBC, and a graphic design certificate from BCIT, and currently enjoys doing illustration projects for clients, as well as continuing her personal daily art practice.
She has been playing with and designing her own hand-stamped stationery for the past few years, and enjoys the carving process to produce a one-of-a-kind design for greeting cards, postcards, and prints. The techniques she’s learned and use come from a combination of fellow artists and looking at the process and work of professional block-printers.
Steffi lives and works in Squamish, BC, which is located within the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation Traditional Territory. She has a Graphic Design Certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia. When she isn’t illustrating or designing, she likes to drink tea, climb rocks, delve into true crime and the macabre, and collect all things cute, strange, and unusual.
