Week 1: Orca Portrait
Begin your watercolour journey with these magnificent sea mammals. Learn basic brush control and watercolour’s flowing nature while capturing smooth skin textures and dramatic black and white patterns. Time permitting, we may explore an additional sea mammal.
Week 2: Agricultural Animal Portrait – Pig
Discover colour mixing and skin tone techniques through painting an endearing pig portrait. Learn fundamental watercolour properties while capturing the charm and personality of farm animals.
Week 3: Furry Animal Portrait – Fox
Explore texture techniques through painting a beautiful fox portrait. Master wet-on-wet and dry brush methods while learning how different approaches create varied effects in your watercolour work.
Week 4: Bird Portrait – Chicken
