Basic Digital Photography for Kids

In this class, youth will work with professional photographer, Vairdy Frail and will learn the basics of photography including: history and photographers toolkit, camera settings, exposure, composition, lighting and posing. The class will end with an ‘art show’ where kids can invite their family and friends to come see their work.
*The class fee includes two 11 x 14 prints the students get to keep
Students will need to bring their own cameras. DSLR is preferred, but an old point-and-shoot digital camera or camera phone work as well.

Vairdy Frail is a Squamish based food and lifestyle photographer with over 15 years experience.
She is passionate about healthy food (mostly plants!), sustainable living, regenerative farming and outdoor adventures.
She aims to support clients of all shapes and sizes who are committed to making a difference in the world.
