Teya Mathias

Teya finds beauty in the little things. Whether a tiny mushroom, gem of beach glass or discarded treasure, she shines new life into what has gone unnoticed. By bringing ordinary things into the spotlight she presents her work for others to enjoy. Re-creating from what is already there is how she shares her work and experiences with others.

Squamish Arts acknowledges that the land on which we live, work and recreate is the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, particularly the territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation. It is our responsibility to honour their ancestry by being an ally to the present.
