Elizabeth Harris

Elizabeth Harris has lived and worked in the lower mainland for the last 30+ years. In 2014 she moved to Midnight Way in Paradise Valley to create Midnight in Paradise. This slice of paradise includes an acre to stash all sorts of great finds, two houses: a main house with enough room for a painting studio. The secondary dwelling boasts a ceramic studio and a guest house. There is a kiln shed, with a tool room attached and more recently a woodwork shop has been attached to that.

Harris has been an instructor of painting, life drawing, and ceramics, she has instigated and facilitated studios and art societies.  Harris is an Emily Carr University Alumni; she has exhibited nationally, and her work has been collected worldwide.  Harris has been represented by galleries in Whistler and Vancouver, and is currently represented by Canada House Gallery in Banff, Alberta.

Harris has recently joined forces with Goose Tremblay, who is a master woodworker and set builder for the Vancouver film industry, together they continue to wreak havoc, make messes, and generally have a good time creating.
