David Petko

Dave Petko is an established artist in the Sea to Sky corridor and has called Function Junction, Whistler home for close to 30 years.

Dave is an artist with a style that has changed considerably over the past 30 years. His main medium is acrylic on canvas yet he is also comfortable putting a needle dipped in ink to skin at his tattoo studio Black Ohm Tattoos where Dave has tattooed for the past 23 years. When not painting or tattooing, Dave’s work has been seen at music festivals such as Bass Coast Festival (Merritt, BC), Tortuga Music Festival (Fort Lauderdale, FLA), Pemberton Music Festival (Pemberton, BC) and Lost Lands Festival (Ohio).

Dave is a force to be reckoned with and has not slowed down in his 50 years on earth. He has a solo exhibit in Whistler January and February 2022 where he has 29 brand new paintings completed for the exhibit. In March 2022 Dave has yet another solo exhibit in the works in Vancouver with 14 brand new paintings in the works as well as sculptural pieces.
