Lia Watson

Hi! I am Lia, a visual storyteller who grew up in Nova Scotia and now living in Squamish, BC. My love for photography started with disposable cameras, expired film, and grainy blurry stills. But, it wasn’t until this past April that I finally felt the urge to explore and create this form of art. I am inspired by cinematic films, traveling, visual poetry, movement, music, film photography, real emotion, art, and natural light. I want to capture movements full of emotion and life. Photographs that feel like a still from an old film.
