Karen Yaremkewich is a Squamish, BC based textile artist and the creator of Endure Upcycled Designs (est. 2011). She creates sustainable everyday wear using locally reclaimed fabrics and thrifted clothing, transforming plaid shirts and denim with cyanotype and screen printing featuring her original artwork.
Her practice also includes mixed-media art made from reclaimed materials, including fabric mosaics, collage, and assemblage. Inspired by the mountains and ocean of the West Coast, Karen’s work reflects a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and creative reuse.
