Squamish Muralists in Conversation

Squamish is known for its jaw-dropping murals, thanks in large part to Downtown Squamish’s annual Mural Walk Festival, a summer initiative that invites the public to watch walls in our community transformed into vibrant public art in real time. Join muralists Jean Bradbury, Trystan Cutts, and Sarah Keller in a wide-ranging conversation with Mural Walk organizer, Alex J Fowkes, about the inspiration behind their works in Squamish, the challenges and rewards of creating large-scale works, their journeys to becoming the artists they are today, and a little of what they’re working on next.

Presented in partnership with the Downtown Squamish

Jean Bradbury

Bowen Island artist Jean Bradbury draws inspiration from the forests and shores of Howe Sound. Her murals celebrate native plants, fungi, marine life, and wildlife, inviting viewers to appreciate the natural world.

Trystan Cutts
