Anonymous Art Show Registration

Get creative this fall

Be part of Squamish Arts’ Anonymous Art Show this November at the Brackendale Art Gallery (BAG) and create something wonderful on a unique round of cedar.

Anyone can participate, from emerging to professional artists, and of course each artist will remain anonymous until after their artwork has sold. The works will be for sale at $100 each, with $50 going to the artist and $50 to Squamish Arts. Funds raised directly support the Art Walk program.

Important Dates:

October 30, 4pm:
Deadline to submit the participation form (see below)

November 1 & 2 :
Deadline to drop off art at the BAG at 4pm. 

November 3, 7 – 9pm:
Anonymous Art Show Opening and Buying Night at the BAG

PARTICIPATION FORM

Pick up a cedar round ($10+GST) at the following locations.

Squamish Farmers Market on Saturday, September 12 at the Squamish Arts table. More pick -up dates to be announced.

Once your artwork is complete, please:

• Fill out this online registration form.

• Drop off your artwork (wrapped or otherwise protected) at the Brackendale Art Gallery on Sunday, November 1st, or Monday, November 2nd.

• Artwork can be mailed to: Squamish Arts, P.O. 2670 Stn Main, Squamish BC, V8B-0B8 and must be received by the deadline.**

* There are a limited number of cedar rounds, so artists are limited to one each.

Due to the small size of our team, unsold artwork must be picked up and will not be shipped back to artists.

1. The artist agrees to sign their work on the back only; no names or initials are to be included on the front of any artwork submitted to this show.

2. The artist agrees to attach hanging hardware.

3. The artist agrees to make their work available for display during the full term of the contract November 3 - November 27. Squamish Arts reserves the right to shorten or lengthen the exhibition period at their discretion.

4. The artist is responsible for adhering to the specified drop-off time no later than no later than 4pm on Monday, November 2, 2026.

5. The artist will deliver their work packaged or otherwise protected to the Brackendale Art Gallery (BAG) at the artist’s expense.

6. The artist will provide supporting documentation as outlined above including labels, biographical information, and personal contact and payment details. ARTWORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A COMPLETED SUBMISSION FORM.

7. Each participating artist will receive a complimentary Squamish Arts membership* ($30 value) and $50 per piece sold.

8. The artist will NOT complete the direct sale of any Anonymous Art Show work during the commissionable sales period (November 3-November 27). The artist will direct all sales of artwork displayed in the BAG to Squamish Arts. Squamish Arts will be responsible for all sales. Squamish Arts will complete the final reconciliation within thirty (30) days after the conclusion of the exhibition.

9. The artist will pick up any unsold pieces from the BAG by end of day, on Friday, November 27, 2026. Any unsold pieces not collected by this date will be considered as donations to Squamish Arts and become the property of Squamish Arts. Please note that unsold artwork must be picked up at the BAG and will not be shipped back to artists.

10. The Artist agrees to act as an ambassador of Squamish Arts and the arts community when participating and showing in Squamish Arts events. By participating the artist agrees to conduct themselves in a positive and supportive manner.
