Eileen is a Squamish-based multidisciplinary artist that finds the small wonders of the forest and ocean truly captivating and the action of noticing and appreciating them completely restorative. Using mostly wood, Eileen tries to emulate the meditative state she finds herself in while in nature through her work. Her love of exploring this coastal region, its textures and details along with how things move and flow, continue to inspire and motivate her creative endeavours. Trained in industrial design as well as fine furniture making, she intuitively interjects that experience into her artwork- working as much as a designer and craftsperson as well as an artist.
