The Cory Weeds Quartet

Join Cory Weeds and his quartet for the launch of a new jazz series at The Brackendale Art Gallery. They’ll honor the legendary Canadian saxophonist Fraser MacPherson by performing some of his favorite tunes. This past April, Weeds’ Cellar Music Group released “Fraser MacPherson: I Don’t Have To Go Anywhere, I’m Already Here” by Guy MacPherson, Fraser’s son. The book offers an intimate portrait of MacPherson and explores Vancouver’s golden age of nightlife, when musicians could thrive locally.

The BAG’s kitchen and bar will open at 5:30 for dinner before the show. Seating will be theatre-style, with chairs and tables available. For more details, visit Cory Weeds.
