DESCRIPTION:Join Kelsea Rae Ceramics at Smoke Bluffs Coffee House for a cozy evening of pottery carving. Carving is one of the most creative and fleeting stages of pottery\, a step that happens between throwing and glazing\, and one that you don’t often get to practice yourself. \nEach participant will receive a wheel-thrown tumbler\, handmade by yours truly\, ready to be transformed with your own design. In 2006\, he was awarded a Canada Council Grant to study traditional Mexican Music in Veracruz\, Mexico. Tom spent his days learning the jarana (an 8 string guitar).
