Mo Williams is a ceramic artist living in Squamish with her husband and two young children. Originally from LA, she was introduced to ceramics in 2018 while living in Montreal, and has been passionately creating ever since. She has spent countless hours in classes, workshops, apprenticing at studios, and practicing her craft.
As a hand builder, her preferred techniques are pinching, coil building, or slab building with clay to form functional vessels and homeware. You’ll often find her fingerprints intentionally left in the clay, embracing the hand built style and protesting the idea of chasing perfection.
Mo’s work is created for the everyday, lending a bit of loveliness to the mundane – whether it’s your morning coffee ritual, where you place your jewelry after a long day, or a pretty dish to elevate your favorite snack. She’s inspired by the beautiful places she’s lived across North America and is thrilled to be back on the West Coast.
