Kathleen Wheeler

Kathleen is a multidisciplinary artist who currently practices painting, drawing, and bookbinding. She studied fine arts at ACAD University, NSCAD University, Emily Carr University, and currently studies electrical engineering at UBC.

Kathleen’s artwork pries open a window into another dimension where whimsical colours, abstractions, and the natural world collide. She weaves environmentalism into all her works by incorporating recycled and upcycled materials. Each of her pieces is an attempt to capture the vibrance of ecosystems that surround our built world.
