Alexander Sokolowski

Alexander Sokolowski is a photographer currently living and photographing on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territory of the Squamish Nation, Coast Salish Peoples.

His work is a result of carrying around a camera and never taking a moment, that makes you look twice, for granted. Each piece evokes the mood, feeling and rhythm of that particular moment and seeks to transport you and your imagination to that moment in time. Alex’s photographic style is dreamlike, imaginary, abstract and shows, for i what a 50mm lens can do with landscape shots. The effect is a street-like photo perspective in the great outdoors.
