Robert LeBlanc has lived in the mountains and worked with wood for over 30 years. Inspired by the wastefulness of tearing down old chalets, he began reclaiming wood for art pieces. Using Red and Yellow Cedar from the canoe industry and Douglas fir from discarded millwork, he also repurposes Hemlock and Poplar from TV sets. Robert crafts unique pieces by hand, reflecting his clients’ wishes and often using local species. His custom snowflakes and wildlife collections showcase the area’s beauty. The meticulous process is relaxing for him, and he hopes others enjoy his creations as much as he does.
